6 Ways to Rejuvenate Skin Naturally

Introduction

Having younger-looking, rejuvenated might be really easy when you have the budget for regular beauty parlor visits and expensive cosmetic products, but not all of us have that kind of money to spare on our skin. The good thing is we are here to tell you 6 ways to rejuvenate skin naturally at home with ingredients that you already have in your own kitchen, and methods that are so easy that anyone can do them. So, let’s just dive in and learn how to rejuvenate your skin again.

6 Ways to Rejuvenate Skin Naturally

Use Natural Oils as Serums

Use Natural Oils as Serums

The secret to many celebrities’ great skin is the regular use of serums. Serums are great for revitalizing skin because they can boost collagen production, reduce fine lines, and make the skin look younger. If you have a good serum then good for you, make sure to use that every night to let your skin get the nourishment it desperately needs to stay young and fresh. But even if you don’t, you can just use natural essential oils as serums to give your skin a special boost.

And the good thing about using a DIY serum is that you can customize it to fit your skin’s needs the best. You can add as many ingredients as you like and skip the ones that are not the best for your skin. To make your own essential oil serum, you’ll need a carrier oil to provide your skin the nourishment it needs and a little bit of some essential oil to give it a delightful aroma and skin benefits.

The best carrier oils you can use if you have dry skin are avocado, sweet almond, or rosehip oil and the best essential oils are rose, sandalwood, cedarwood, lavender, etc. On the other hand, if you have oily skin, the carrier oils best for you are jojoba or grapeseed oil, and the essential oils best for you are lavender, tea tree, ylang-ylang, rosemary, peppermint, or sandalwood. Just pick one kind of carrier oil and one of the essential oils and mix them together. If you have skin problems like acne, then you can add a couple of drops of some antibacterial essential oil like tea tree oil or neem oil.

Use Lemons on Your Skin

Use Lemons on Your Skin

Lemon is a miracle cure when it comes to skincare as it can carry out multiple purposes. From exfoliation to revitalization, lemon is good for many skin problems.

Take a couple of grains of sugar or salt on a cut-up piece of lemon and you can use it to exfoliate the skin on your body. When it comes to the skin on your face, you’ve got to be a little bit gentler. Mixing lemon with some turmeric and gram flour or besan can make a really nice face pack that can not only help exfoliate your skin but also help it brighten up quite a bit.

Lemon has a ton of mild acid and vitamin C in it, which makes it ideal as a source of nourishment for your skin. Along with applying it to your skin, you can also add it to your diet to rejuvenate you from the inside.

Use Homemade Nourishing and Cleansing Toners

Tonners are a necessary step after cleansing and you should never skip it if you want rejuvenated skin. Using any toner is fine, but when you make it at home yourself, you know exactly what is in it. That way you know there aren’t any ingredients in there that may harm your skin in long term. Not to mention that you can customize it just the way you want and add everything that your skin needs.

When you just cleanse your skin with face wash and soap, the dirt that is on the surface of your skin gets removed. But a normal cleanser can’t go deep into your pores, so all the impurities stay inside your pores which later causes skin problems like acne and pimples.

To combat this, you’ve got to use toner. Some ingredients at your home that you can use as toners are rose water, apple cider vinegar, aloe vera water, and green tea. You can make a really nice toner at home by mixing and matching these ingredients. Using naturally available antimicrobial ingredients like neem and basil will help you have a toner that is insanely effective and better than the ones that money can buy.

Use Ingredients Already Available at Your Home for Deep Moisturization

Who needs a store-bought moisturizer when you have all the ingredients in your home that can moisturize your skin even better? That’s right, you already have all the ingredients at your home to make a moisturizer that is super hydrating and nourishing.

Ingredients like aloe vera, coconut oil, and almond oil are insanely effective at moisturizing your skin. Most of the time these are used as a base for most commercially available moisturizing products. You can just use the good stuff directly on your skin. If you have pure coconut oil and almond oil at your home then you don’t need to buy a moisturizer separately.

Utilize the Ingredients in Your Kitchen to Make Homemade Scrubs

Scrubs are better when they are homemade because you know exactly what’s in them, and since it is made of natural ingredients it is gentler on your skin. So, don’t buy a scrub, the ingredients that you have in your home are enough to rejuvenate your skin naturally.

If you want a good scrub for your body then a really easy to make and effective one can be made by mixing some brown sugar with a little bit of oil. Rub it on the skin of your body, it will exfoliate your skin naturally, removing all the dead skin cells and rejuvenating it.

When it comes to the face of your skin, you’ve got to be a little bit more careful as the skin on your face is quite fragile. So, replace the coarse sugar with oatmeal. Ground rice and baking powder also work quite well but don’t go overboard with the quantity of baking powder. You can also use milk, yogurt, apples, or pineapples to scrub your face. These have mild acids in them that can act as a chemical exfoliant.

Mix and match these ingredients to make your own customized facial scrub. Be gentle while scrubbing your face and stick to a regular routine. As you scrub the dead skin cells away from your face, your skin will start looking rejuvenated and healthier.
